I am a retired art teacher--having taught for 34 years mostly in public middle school.  I have experience teaching from Pre-K through college so I've been there, done it, and understand kids and how they learn in art.  

I am a mom to three grown sons and a grandmother to four beautiful, wonderful, smart grandchildren.  And I have to mention my chihuahua, Ruby.  She is ever-present and sits with me while I create, keeping me company.  All of these  beings are the subjects of much of my work and are forever my inspiration.  

I am entering a new phase where I get to focus on my work and what I want to learn next.  I want to expand into creating artwork for others and pushing myself in that new direction.   I'm excited for this chapter and for the experience working with kids has given me.   They allowed me to grow my patience and helped me become the artist I am today.   My cup runneth over.
